Event Photographer Assistant

We are seeking outgoing and excited individuals to join our volunteer team as an Event Photographer Assistants for the 2025 Halifax MS Walk scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 25th at Acadia Park. The Event Photographer Assistant role is to encourage participants and teams to have their photos taken at designated photo booths or areas during events. In addition to promote photo opportunities, you will be responsible for managing lineups, ensuring smooth flow, and assisting participants in locating their team's name signs for personalized photos.
The MS Walk is a community-driven event for people living with or affected by MS as well as those who want to support our vision of creating a world free of MS. Tens of thousands of Canadians come together in their communities every May to participate, fundraise and volunteer in MS Walk to help find the cause and cure for this disease. These events would not be possible without the support of hundreds of dedicated volunteers given their time.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Help control line ups and encourage & direct participants and teams to have picture taken

Support & Resources:
- Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information
- Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day
Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
