Event Wrap Up Crew

We are seeking diligent and proactive individuals to join our event wrap up crew for the 2025 Halifax MS Walk scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 25th at Acadia Park. As a member of the event wrap up crew, you will play a crucial role in wrapping up the event venue by loading supplies into trucks, taking down equipment including tents and tables, and ensuring that the venue is left in good condition.
The MS Walk is a community-driven event for people living with or affected by MS as well as those who want to support our vision of creating a world free of MS. Tens of thousands of Canadians come together in their communities every May to participate, fundraise and volunteer in MS Walk to help find the cause and cure for this disease. These events would not be possible without the support of hundreds of dedicated volunteers given their time.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Help take down tents, tables, chairs, banners & signs
- Load supplies and equipment into trucks
- Clean up event site post event

- Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information
- Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day
Please be aware that the event wrap up crew involves tasks that may require volunteers to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25lbs. Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
