Participant Check In - Runner

We are seeking friendly and organized individuals to join our volunteer team as a Participant Check-In Runners for our upcoming 2025 Ottawa MS Walk scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 25th at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to work closely with the participant check-in team to ensure all participants receive their correct incentives as earned by their fundraising efforts.
MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations across Canada, where people living with and/or affected by multiple sclerosis come together. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is the best place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships, bringing us closer to a world free of MS.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

· Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information
· Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day
Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
