Sometimes, you just want to talk to someone who gets it.
Our 1:1 Peer Support Program connects people living with MS, as well as loved ones of people with MS, with trained volunteers from across Canada who have their own experience with MS.
Whether you have a specific question, are working through a challenge, or simply need someone to listen, peer support can offer something different: a chance to connect with someone who understands the MS experience firsthand.
You can choose the type of support that works best for you: Extended or OneCall.
Hear real stories from people who’ve benefited from the program on our blog.

A few things to know
Peer support is about connection, understanding, and sharing lived experience. Our volunteers are there to listen and offer support based on their own experiences with MS.
The 1:1 Peer Support Program does not provide medical advice, professional counselling, or crisis support, and it is not intended to replace professional care.
If you require immediate support, please contact your healthcare team, call 911, 988 or connect with a mental health/distress helpline .
