We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our volunteer team as a Route Cheerleaders for our upcoming 2026 Edmonton Jayman BUILT MS Walk scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 31st at Rundle Park. As a Route Cheerleader your role is to provide encouragement, support, and positive energy to participants as they embark on their journey along the event route. Your presence and cheers will uplift and motivate participants, contributing to their overall experience and success during the event.
MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations in Canada where people living with and/or affected by multiple sclerosis come together. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is the best place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships that bring us closer toward a world free of MS.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Cheer participants on route – bring noise makers and signs to increase the excitement

Support & Resources:
- Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information
- Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day
Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
