We are seeking encouraging and motivational individuals to join our volunteer team as a Route Marshals for our upcoming 2026 St. Paul Jayman BUILT MS Walk is taking place Sunday May 31st at Lagasse Park. As a Route Marshal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and guidance of participants during the MS Walk. Your responsibilities will include setting up directional signage along the designated route, alerting participants to potential hazards or route changes, managing traffic flow at intersections, and providing encouragement and support to participants throughout the event.
Route Marshals should not attempt to stop any oncoming traffic.
MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations in Canada where people living with and/or affected by multiple sclerosis come together. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is the best place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships that bring us closer toward a world free of MS.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Help set up directional & cause signage along route
- Alert participants at heavy traffic areas, hazards or changes on the route
- If needed, alert traffic that participants are crossing intersections. Route marshal should not attempt to stop oncoming traffic

Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
