Food & Beverage Lead

We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to join our volunteer team as the Food and Beverage Lead for the upcoming 2026 Kingston - Belleville MS Walk scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 31st at the Lake Ontario Park and Pavilion . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage area, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for distributing food to all event attendees. As the Food and Beverage Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting our food and beverage volunteers, managing the food station, and providing exceptional customer service to event participants. 

The MS Walk is a community-driven event for people living with or affected by MS as well as those who want to support our vision of creating a world free of MS. Tens of thousands of Canadians come together in their communities every May to participate, fundraise and volunteer in MS Walk to help find the cause and cure for this disease. These events would not be possible without the support of hundreds of dedicated volunteers given their time. 

Volunteer Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the food & beverage area - provide guidance and support for food & beverage volunteers 
  • First point of contact for food & beverage vendors 
  • Support vendor needs as required 
  • Troubleshoot any unforeseen situations that arise

Support & Resources: 

  • Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information 
  • Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day 

*There may be additional food safety training required for this role. 

Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
