The 2019 endMS Summer School, “3 Ps
of MS: Pain, Protection, and rePair”, was held May 26-29, 2019 at the
University of Calgary.
A huge thank you to the Alberta MS Network for hosting the 2019 endMS Summer
School in Calgary showcasing Alberta’s
diverse MS research expertise. This educational program integrated innovative cutting edge basic and clinical research
with a focus on fundamental knowledge and laboratory research, as
well as translational activities that bring innovations to those
living with MS.
Message from hosts:
We hope to guide you from bench to bedside and
back through the exploration of topics related to neuropathic
Pain, neuroProtection and
rePair. Sessions will emphasize work that is
needed to examine these more complicated targets of MS research,
and also address disease progression.
Over the course of the Summer School, trainees with diverse backgrounds will have ample networking opportunities to build connections between peers and guest speakers. Participants will experience a balanced program with exciting lectures, hands-on workshops, career development sessions and research engagement sessions.
