Volunteer Opportunities

Sunday, Hwy 40 and Entrance Ranch Crossing

Bike - AB - Hinton
Entrance, AB

We are seeking individuals to join our team to support the safe passage of our event participants at the MS Bike – Hinton event on Sunday, September 8 at the Hwy 40 & Entrance Ranch highway crossing.

MS Bike is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels across Canada come together each year to end Canada’s disease: multiple sclerosis. With hundreds of participants, volunteers are needed to help with every aspect of the entire event. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community using your talent and time.

Hwy 40 & Entrance Ranch Crossing

  • Riders need to cross Hwy 40 at the Entrance Ranch exit to go towards the Entrance Airport rest stop
  • Station near road to ensure that riders cross the road safely
  • DO NOT stop traffic, slow riders down so they can use caution to cross
  • Please bring a comfortable lawn chair and an umbrella if raining. Also bring water and snacks as needed.
  • Please stop at the Hinton Centre for your Safety Sign and safety vest.

Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

For more information, please contact our Community Volunteer MS Staff: Joelle Weisbeck, joelle.weisbeck@mscanada.ca or call 587- 401- 2712.
