Volunteer Opportunities

Saturday, Queen Margaret's School, Bike Marshals

Bike - BCY - Cowichan
660 Brownsey Ave, Duncan, BC

We are seeking individuals to join our team to support the bike marshal team for the MS Bike - Cowichan, taking place July 13th at Queen Margaret’s School. Provide support along the route to the cyclists by riding along the route with the participants in order to connect cyclists experiencing mechanical issues with support and ensure cyclists are following route safely.

MS Bike is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels across Canada come together each year to end Canada’s disease: multiple sclerosis. With hundreds of participants, volunteers are needed to help with every aspect of the entire event. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community using your talent and time.

*Please be aware that the role of bike marshal requires volunteers to be an experienced cyclist. Upon signing up for this role an MS team member will be in touch.

If you have any questions about the physical requirements of the role or would like to discuss alternative volunteer opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your willingness to help make a difference.
