Bike - MB - Gimli
111001 Rd, 17 East and Hwy 231, Gimli, MB

We are seeking individuals to join our team to support the greeting and parking for the MS Bike - Gimli, taking place August 24th and 25th. Responsible for managing the flow of traffic arriving/leaving the event to ensure that traffic moves safely and efficiently.

MS Bike is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels across Canada come together each year to end Canada’s disease: multiple sclerosis. With hundreds of participants, volunteers are needed to help with every aspect of the entire event. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community using your talent and time.

Volunteer responsibilities:

  • Stop and direct incoming traffic to different parking areas
  • Greet individuals as they arrive and provide direction

*Please be aware that the Parking Attendant requires standing for a long period of time with exposure to the elements. If you have any questions about the physical requirements of the role or would like to discuss alternative volunteer opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your willingness to help make a difference.

Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

For more information, please contact our Community Volunteer MS Staff: Karyn Heidrick, karyn.heidrick@mscanada.ca or call (431) 302-5311
