Volunteer Opportunities

Saturday, Wasagaming, Lunch Stop Volunteer

Bike - MB - Riding Mountain
Wasagaming, MB

We are seeking individuals to join our team to support the Wasagaming lunch stop along the route for the MS Bike - Riding Mountain, taking place September 7th. Help our cyclists make it through the route by serving lunch, water and Gatorade and creating a welcoming and supportive environment!

MS Bike is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels across Canada come together each year to end Canada’s disease: multiple sclerosis. With hundreds of participants, volunteers are needed to help with every aspect of the entire event. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community using your talent and time.

Volunteer responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the lunch team lead prepare and serve food and beverages to the cyclists
  • Set up and clean-up of the lunch stop
  • Bring the excitement to the cyclists as they come in for lunch
  • Cheer, clap, and make some noise!

*Please be aware that the lunch stop role involves tasks that may require volunteers to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25lbs.

Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

If you have any questions about the physical requirements of the role or would like to discuss alternative volunteer opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your willingness to help make a difference.

For more information, please contact our Community Volunteer MS Staff: Karyn Heidrick, karyn.heidrick@mscanada.ca or call (431) 302-5311
