We are seeking organized and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a volunteer check in support for the upcoming York Region MS Walk, scheduled to take place 11:00am May 26th at Richmond Green Park. In this role, you will be responsible for managing volunteer check-in, distributing necessary materials, and assigning volunteers to their designated areas. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that volunteers are accounted for, properly equipped, and directed to their assigned tasks to support the successful execution of the event.
The MS Walk is a community-driven event for people living with or affected by MS as well as those who want to support our vision of creating a world free of MS. Tens of thousands of Canadians come together in their communities every May to participate, fundraise and volunteer in MS Walk to help find the cause and cure for this disease. These events would not be possible without the support of hundreds of dedicated volunteers given their time.
