Event Photographer

We are seeking outgoing and self-guided individuals to join our volunteer team as Event Photographers for our upcoming 2025 York Region MS Walk, taking place on Sunday, May 25th at Richmond Green Park. As an Event Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing images of teams, participants, volunteers, and the overall atmosphere of the event. Your primary focus will be on photographing teams and participants at the start/finish line, as well as capturing general images throughout the event venue. Additionally, you will be tasked with taking photos along the event route, following a provided shot list.
MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations across Canada, where people living with and/or affected by multiple sclerosis come together. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is the best place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships, bringing us closer to a world free of MS.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Take photos of teams and participants at the start/finish line
- Capture general images of event participants and volunteers
- Take photos out on route, shot list to be provided

- Technical Knowledge (preferred but not necessary)

Support & Resources:
- Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information
- Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day
Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
