Checkpoint Attendant #1

We are seeking upbeat and enthusiastic individuals to join our volunteer team as a Checkpoint Attendants for our upcoming 2025 Regina MS Walk scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 25th at Northshore Park at 11:00am. The primary responsibility of the Checkpoint Attendant is to assist with loading/unloading event supplies, setting up the checkpoint area, and greeting participants with enthusiasm as they pass by.

MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations across Canada, where people living with and/or affected by multiple sclerosis come together. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is the best place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships, bringing us closer to a world free of MS.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Help load/unload event vehicles with supplies   
  • Set up and clean up checkpoint areas   
  • Greet and cheer on participants

Support & Resources:

  • Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information
  • Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day

Please be aware that the Checkpoint Attendant involves tasks that require volunteers to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25lbs. Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
