Food and Beverage Volunteer

Walk - ATL - Halifax

We are seeking organized and self-guided individuals to join our volunteer team as Food and Beverage volunteers for the upcoming 2026 Halifax MS Walk scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 31st at ACADIA PARK. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up food and beverage stations, ensuring adequate supplies are available throughout the event, restocking items as needed, and cleaning up litter. Additionally, you will assist with post-event cleanup to ensure the venue is left in great condition. 

MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations in Canada where people living with and/or affected by multiple sclerosis come together. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is the best place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships that bring us closer toward a world free of MS. 

Volunteer Responsibilities: 

  • Set up food, beverage and supplies, restock and clean away litter  
  • Help to clean up after event

Support & Resources: 

  • Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information 
  • Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day 

Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
