Event Set Up Crew

We are seeking hardworking and self-motivated individuals to join our event set up crew for the 2026 Saskatoon MS Walk scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 31st at The University of Saskatchewan at 11:00 am. As a member of the event set up crew, you will play a crucial role in preparing the event venue by unloading supplies, setting up equipment including tents and tables, decorating the site, and ensuring that all elements are in place for a successful event.

MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations in Canada where people living with and/or affected by multiple sclerosis come together. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is the best place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships that bring us closer toward a world free of MS.  

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Unload supplies and equipment
  • Help set up tents, tables, chairs, banners & signs
  • Decorate and tidy the site
  • Other duties as needed while participants are on route

Support & Resources:

  • Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information
  • Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day

Please be aware that the event set up crew involves tasks that may require volunteers to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25lbs. Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
