May 30th is World MS Day!

World MS Day is an international awareness day for everyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). It brings the global MS community together to share stories, raise awareness and campaign for change. World MS Day is officially marked on 30 May but activities take place throughout the month of May.

Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world.  Over 90,000 Canadians live with MS. 
On average, 12 Canadians are diagnosed with MS every day.  Women are 3X more likely to be diagnosed with MS than men. 
MS is the most common neurological disease affecting young adults in Canada.  60% of adults diagnosed with MS are between the ages of 20 and 49 years old
