Burgers to Beat MS
Supporting Canadians, Burger by Burger.
On average, someone in Canada is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) every two hours. Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world – and we need your help to change that.
From July 20 to August 20, A&W Canada and MS Canada are teaming up for the 18th annual Burgers to Beat MS Campaign. This coast-to-coast effort brings Canadians together to raise funds for MS research, advocacy and support for Canadian affected by MS.
Burgers to Beat MS Day is on Thursday, August 20, when $2 from every Teen Burger® sold is donated directly to MS Canada.
Ways to Support (Starting July 20):
Buy a Teen Burger® on August 20 – $2 goes to MS Canada
Round up your bill at any A&W across the country
Donate in-restaurant and sign a Burgers to Beat MS cut-out
Why your support matters
When you participate in Burgers to Beat MS, you're doing more than donating - you’re directly helping Canadians impacted by MS. Your support helps to:
Advance treatment and care – by funding word class research that improves health outcomes for people living with MS
Enhance well-being – by delivering programs like the MS Knowledge Network, 1:1 Peer Support, and virtual wellness like We Talk MS.
Understand and halt disease progression – by investing in research to uncover the causes and complexities of MS to slow or stop further disability or worsening of the disease.
Prevent MS – by identifying risk factors, detecting and diagnosing MS earlier, and working toward stopping the disease before it starts
This campaign is about Canadians helping Canadians. Whether it’s a neighbour, colleague, family member, or friend, your support helps provide the services and hope they need today, while fueling research that will change lives tomorrow.
And together, we can create a future free of MS - one Teen Burger at a time.
